Stephen Ministry equips everyday people in our church to offer one-on-one, Christ-centered care to those walking through life’s hardest seasons.

Whether you're grieving, facing illness, going through a divorce, or simply overwhelmed, a Stephen Minister can walk alongside you with prayer, encouragement, and confidential support.

What Is a Stephen Minister?

A Stephen Minister is:

  • A trained layperson with 50+ hours of care ministry preparation

  • A caring Christian who listens, prays, and supports without judgment

  • A committed presence who meets weekly for as long as needed

  • Someone who offers confidential, trustworthy care

Who Can Receive Care?

Stephen Ministers are available for those going through:

  • Grief or loss

  • Illness or hospitalization

  • Divorce or separation

  • Loneliness, discouragement, or spiritual crisis

  • Unemployment, relocation, infertility, or other life transitions

No matter the struggle, you don’t have to walk through it alone.

How You Can Be Involved

  • Receive care when you need support—this ministry is here for you

  • Refer someone who may benefit from a Stephen Minister

  • Consider serving if you feel called to compassionate, listening-based ministry

  • Pray for those giving and receiving care through this ministry
